A Day In the City

Last Wednesday I went into the city with my mom. We had to go to the Indian Consulate for some paper work. So I figured we make it into a fun day in the city. It was super cold and windy but we still had a great time. We walked down 5th avenue looking at window displays and all the holiday decorations. NYC is such a magical place during the holiday time and it's absolutely beautiful. We grabbed lunch at TAO (love this place) and had some lychee martinis yumm. After lunch we just browsed through some stores and I ended up buying some things at the Forever 21 on 5th ave. After we walked to Time Square and I went to Inglot. I had been meaning to go there for awhile since I wanted to check out there rainbow shadows. I ended up with a few things but the one thing that I was most excited about was there Duraline. I'm so happy I finally picked this up. Awhile back I had bought Inglot's gel eyeliner's and all mine cracked down the middle. But with Duraline which is like a mixing medium I can bring my dead liners back to Life :). The first thing I did when I came home was play with my gel liners and duraline and was amazed at how fluently the liners glided on my eyes. You can also mix duraline with pigments and shadows to make your own liners. I'm excited to play around with this more and come up with some fun looks. So I just wanted to share my goodies and some pics with you all. The window displays at Bergdorf Goodman are world famous and I was lucky enough to see them this year. They were so BEAUTIFUL!! My pictures don't do them any justice it's just something you have to see in person. I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season and let me know if you have ever been to NYC and seen the beautiful window Displays or even the Christmas Tree ?

NOTD: Mac Arthur Park

Back In November when I went crazy shopping around Black Friday and Cyber Monday. I placed an order with American Apparel. I always wanted to try there Nail Polish and since they had 30% off I figured why not buy some now lol. I ended up picking up two colors also bought some leggings and a infinity scarf. Ever since I got the polishes I wanted to do a manicure with the colors but I never got around to it. So today I decided to paint my nails with this really unique and awesome green color. I don't own anything like this green and I'm loving this creamy formula. I paired with with some glitter on my thumb and ring finger. I hope you guys like it and let me know if you have ever tried American Apparel Nail Polishes and if you have What are some of your favorite colors ?

Make Up For Ever: HD Complexion Starter Kit

As you might know Make up For Ever is one of my favorite beauty brands. That being said The HD foundation from Make Up For Ever is my Holy Grail <3. I adore this foundation and go for it every single time I want to wear liquid foundation. It's not cakey and does not feel heavy on the face. It gives me the perfect airbrushed flawless looking skin. I was so excited to know when Mufe told me about this new HD complexion Starter Kit. I was already familiar with the products the kit has to offer. But I was really excited to share about this with you all and my friends who haven't used this foundation before.
This is a perfect kit for someone who is new to Mufe and wants to try out there products. The starter kit comes with
*Hd Microperfection Primer #0
*Hd Invisible Cover Foundation
*Hd Microfinish Powder and Kabbuki Brush.

This is the ultimate kit for someone who wants to perfect there complexion and what's amazing about this kit is that you can personalize it with picking your own foundation shade. The HD foundation comes in 26 unique shades which range from lightest to the deepest so your sure to find your right shade. To help you with finding your right shade Mufe is also launching an interactive shade finder tool online – since clients are usually too afraid to buy foundation online for the first time because they don’t know what shade they are.  You can find the tool here if you want to try it out: www.hd.makeupforeverusa.com/shadefinder

With 3 easy steps you can achieve that naturally flawless skin. I think this is a great value considering all the products it comes with. I have been using these products for awhile now so I can tell you first hand that this stuff works.

The Kit is $79 and now avaliable at Sephora.com and Sephora stores

***Since Make Up For Ever is launching this Complexion Starter Kit they are also hosting there first ever open casting call to find the model for there next Unretouched ad campaign. You can create your own picture-perfect make up look and then submit it for consideration via there microsite, www.hd.makeupforeverusa.com  All finalists’ photos will be posted on there Facebook and the winner will be flown to NYC for a professional photo shoot in late February.
