RiRi Hearts Mac

Hope you guys were able to get everything from one of the most anticipated collection of the year. I'm so excited to share my RiRi Hearts Mac collection haul with you. I knew this collection would be insanity from the minute I heard about it. This past year Rihanna collaborated with Mac and created this gorgeous collection. The collection was split up into 4 parts as it seems to me. I think the first thing they released was the lipstick RiRi Woo which is similar to the macs popular color Ruby woo. Then the second part to her collection was the summer collection and now the fall collection has landed. I recently actually found out that there will be a Holiday collection, hurray for my wallet. I have picked up a little something from each part of this collection but this one was by far my most favorite. The packaging is to die for. Everything is rose gold and metallic I mean who doesn't like rose gold and metallic. I think the fall part of this collection had the most products even though RiRi Woo was a part of all three so far. I did some major damage on the fall collection. I knew how crazy and difficult it would be to get this collection and since I work full time my mom was nice enough to go wait on a crazy line for me the day it hit the stores. I had already spoken to my Mac artist at the store and because of the high demand of this collection she was unable to hold anything for me and I knew there was only one way I could get everything. I am very thankful to my mom who was nice enough to go for me and deal with my crazy Mac addiction. My apologizes in advance for the not so grate swatches

The things I picked up were:

* Hibiscus Kiss- Bronzer/Blush Duo
* Bad Girl Gone Good- Blush
* Diamonds- Cream Colour Base
* Her Cocoa- Eyeshadow Quad
* Talk That Talk- Lipstick
* Nude- Lipstick
* Who's That Chick- Lipstick
* 187SE- Brush

Better Late then Never

This is So long over due that I feel silly even making a post about it. Yes I'm a slacker but I figured it's better late then never, and that I would show you guys all the goodies I picked up from The Makeup Show back in May. I believe this was my 3rd year attending The Makeup Show and just like the past I had a blast. This year I only decided to go for one day since I couldn't really miss a day of work. I went on Sunday and tried to get there as early as I could. Just like always it was packed and everyone was going crazy over Nars and Make Up For Ever. I went with a budget this year because I really didn't think I needed much but of course that went out the window once I got to the show. I didn't really take any pictures this year because I really just wanted to go and relax and get my makeup on . I mostly did some major damage at Stila, Occ and Nars. Make Up For Ever is usually one of my favorite booths but I felt like I had everything I needed from them so this year I didn't even bother getting on that long line. I also bought some brushes at Bdellium Tools cause a girl can never have enough brushes especially when they are so affordable. I also picked up a few staples . If you have any questions about any of the products please do let me know in the comments below.

Artisan Brush Collection by Make Up For Ever

I'm really excited to talk to you about this new brush collection Make Up For Ever has come out with. The minute I received these brushes I instantly fell in love with them. They look very different then any of the brushes I have in my collection. These just have a certain sex appeal to them and are so stylish looking. One of the unique things about these brushes is that the handles are made with beech wood and have a bevel end the end so its easier to use with faux lash application. The creator of Make Up For Ever Dany Sanz wanted to create brushes that could be used by a professional or an every day women. It took her Five years to perfect these brushes by testing out a variety of synthetic fibers that felt like real silky natural hairs. The brushes went through twenty five different stages and were hand crafted by thirty people from start to finish.

This collection has not one not two but Seventy six new brushes. So I'm sure there is a brush in there for you. The collection is classified in numbers so it's easier to indicate which number goes with what type of brush.

100's = Face brushes
200's= Eye brushes
300's= Lip brushes
400's= Artist Special brushes for a professionals

These brushes are now available on

Pro Finish by Make Up For Ever

I'm really excited to introduce to you guys this amazing new product Make Up For Ever has come out with. It's definitely a product for the women on the go like my self. On a day to day basis I usually don't wear liquid foundation. This new compact foundation is the perfect alternative to the liquid foundation. What's really cool about this compact foundation is that it can be used wet or dry. This way you can really create the prefect look for yourself. When applied wet it gives you a sheer, satin coverage and when applied dry it gives you full, matte coverage.So you can build up your coverage or wear it sheer. The Pro Finish is great to bring along with you for touch ups through out the day. What I like about this compact is that it's portable, has build able coverage and also it's really long lasting.. so you barely need touch ups.

The Pro Finish comes in 25 different shades making it the most comprehensive compact ranges in the market today. The Pro Finish comes in a black compact which also has a mirror and a sponge for the application. There are many ways to apply this foundation. When Applying it wet I usually pick up the foundation on the makeup sponge and then spray it with some water and then apply it to my face and when applying it try I usually use my small mac kabuki brush. This product is now available at the Sephora store's near you
It is valued at $36.
