FOTD: Dolce Vita

After a really long week at work this weekend I was able to enjoy my self. A friend of mine invited me to a jewelry party. I had never been to one so it sounded pretty interesting. We went to a friend's house in Queens and it was about 13 girls all together. At first I wasn't going to buy much but they had some really good deals so I ended up spending a lot more then I had planned... whoops. It's okay though because the jewelry was so beautiful and I can't wait until it comes in. All the girls decided to go out after the party for a few drinks and we literally took over the bar. It was so funny and even though I couldn't drink because I'm currently taking antibiotics I still had a blast and also ended up with some beautiful jewelry. Just wanted to share the look I had on for the night. I wore my new Forever21 shirt and wanted to go with a bright colored look.  I haven't really gone out since my birthday which was awhile ago. After I came back from India I finally decided to go out on Saturday night. The club I ended up going to had a special Whitney Houston tribute night. Well let me tell you it was an interesting night. There were people there as old as my rents if not older. Me and my girlfriend kind of fell out of place and wondered if we were at the right place the whole night lol. Fotd: Naked2

 I have had my Naked2 palette for awhile now. I ordered it they day Urban Decay announced it on twitter and was lucky enough to get it the first time before it kept getting sold out. When I received it I was very excited to play with it but then it just sat on my table for days. I would look at it and then put it away but never actually used it. I was also going to write up a full review of the Naked 2 palette and compare it to the original naked palette. But every blog and site and YT vid had a review on it so I decided never to post it. It's an awesome palette with some beautiful neutral colors the texture of the eyeshadows is really nice as well. If you have the original then I'm not sure if you really need the Naked2 but I have really enjoyed mine a lot.


So enough with the rambling let's get back to the Fotd. Tonight I went out for dinner and I knew I wanted to use my Naked2 and I also knew I wanted to use colors that I had not used before. I came up with this look were I used YDK, Snakebite ( which I think is my favorite color in the palette) and a little bit of Busted at the outer corners. I paired this look up with a pink shimmery gloss because I really wasn't feeling a lipstick. I hope you guys enjoy this look. HAPPY NEW YEAR 2012 !!!

Hey all just wanted to wish everyone a Very Happy New Year!!!! 

Hope you all had an amazing New Year's Eve and that you celebrated with your family and loved ones. I hope 2012 will bring you the best of luck and that all your wishes and dreams come true this year :) Also wanted to Thank everyone for being part of my little beauty world online :) I can't believe that 2011 is over. It went by super fast but I'm looking forward to 2012 and I have a feeling it will be a great year. I don't really make New Year's Resolution's because by the end of February they are usually broken but I do want to try and post on here more often and do what makes me happy and smile. Do you guys have any New Year Resolutions?

FOTD: Teal reflects

This week I was on vacation from work and I promised my self to do more Fotds to post on the blog but luckily I had some major issues with my right eye and the skin around the eye was red and irritated the whole week :( Therefore I couldn't do much and was really bored and annoyed. My eye has gotten better over the week and I couldn't wait any longer. So I decided to do this fun sparkly look just because I had not worn any makeup all week. FOTD: Hot Pink

Yesterday was my Dad's Birthday and we were originally going to have family over and have dinner at home but last minute plans got changed and we ended up going out to my uncle's restaurant. We had so much fun and ate like crazy. I had bought a hot pink sweater from Forever 21 a while ago that I was dying to wear and last night was the perfect night to wear it. It was bright and kept me warm all night. I based my look according to the sweater and finally used my Urban Decay Naked2 palette for the first time.
