MAKE UP FOR EVER- New Boutique and Studio

MAKE UP FOR EVER SET TO OPEN FIRST-EVER BOUTIQUE & STUDIO
WITHIN SELECT SEPHORA STORES IN OCTOBER 2010

New York, NY – September 2010 – MAKE UP FOR EVER announces its partnership with Sephora to open
a new retail concept within three existing Sephora stores in New York, Nevada, and California throughout
the month of October 2010.  The new MAKE UP FOR EVER Boutique & Studios at Sephora will incorporate
a cutting-edge design along with a more extensive product selection, interactive tools, education and
artistry into one specially designed retail space.

“The Boutique & Studios represent a new platform for the brand to showcase its unique DNA through
unparalleled artistry and education,” said Gilles Kortzagadarian, General Manager of MAKE UP FOR EVER
North America.  “I am excited to take our partnership with Sephora to the next level by opening stores
within three of their top locations.”

The new MAKE UP FOR EVER Boutique & Studios, ranging in size from approximately 600-750 square
feet, have been designed to be reminiscent of a “backstage” environment, complete with studio makeup
stations and lighting. In addition to having separate entrances, each one will contain more than 1,200
product skus including iconic professional-only items and special effects products, making them the only
retail locations outside of the MAKE UP FOR EVER’s Flagship New York City Studio to offer this.  The
Boutique & Studio will be staffed by dedicated MAKE UP FOR EVER employees who have been trained by
educators from the prestigious MAKE UP FOR EVER Academy in Paris to provide knowledgeable
expertise on all aspects of the brand.

To provide a more interactive experience for clients, each store will also feature the following:

* Studio – a series of fun, interactive and personalized one-on-one or group make up lessons
will be offered to educate consumers on application techniques and how to achieve specific
looks.  These include “Eye Make Up Basics: The Classic Contour,” and “Iconic Eyes: 1960s
Eye Make Up,” “Lip Technique Basics: The Longest Lasting Lip,” and bridal make up sessions
for both the bride and bridal party.

*iPads – stores will be equipped with iPads that will not only provide access to MAKE UP FOR
EVER how-to videos, it will also link to Facebook, Twitter, Four Square and other social
networking sites so consumers can post updates on-the-go.  Additionally well, they will
highlight MAKE UP FOR EVER artistry, showcasing make up looks created for special events
and education purposes.

  * Touch Screen – each store will feature an interactive touch screen that can be used by staff
members and clients to create customized make up designs and face charts that can actually
be emailed directly to the clients.  This unique touch screen looks like a computerized white
board and can be drawn on directly using fingertips or a special pen.  This tool will allow
artists to animate application techniques and tips so clients can easily re-create the looks on
their own.

* Eye Shadow Station – a long communal table sits in each space that is designed for clients to
sit and play with products before or after they make a purchase.  As well, the entire range of
MAKE UP FOR EVER’S Eye Shadows will be displayed in the center of the table for clients to
experiment and create their own customized palettes for purchase.

“Our partnership with MAKE UP FOR EVER marks an important shift in the retail paradigm for our
clients,” says Sharon Rothstein, Sephora’s SVP Marketing.  “At Sephora, we’re committed to providing
innovation, freedom, expertise and choice, and the new MAKE UP FOR EVER Boutique & Studio is a
great example of this.”

The three new MAKE UP FOR EVER Boutique & Studios at Sephora will be located in the following
destinations:

8ty8 Beauty Nailpolish Haul

I'm one of the luck ones that actually has access to the store of one of the famous websites aka 8ty8beauty.com ,which is a website that sells nail polishes at whole sale prices. So about a month ago I finally decided to go the store and do a little nail polish hauling. If you are a nail polish lover like me  then this is definitely the site/store for you ..It was like being in nail polish heaven. They had some of the top nail polish brands like Essie, OPI, China Glaze, Color Club and Orly. I went in with a list of the polishes I wanted but was overwhelmed once I got there and my list went out the window. Majority of my haul is China Glaze but I did buy two Essie polishes and one polish from Color Club. Most of the China Glaze polishes that I wanted were from a collection that was out for a limited time but I was lucky enough to find a few of them at the store. I also grabbed the last "OMG" polish from China Glaze OMG collection which is really hard to find in stored or online. What I also like about this company is that they are always one of the first ones to get all the new collections from the brands listed above. They carry everything you can possibly find in a nail salon at really discounted prices. I was very pleased with my purchase and ended up buying 16 nail polishes. My experience at the store was very memorable and the employees were very nice & helpful. Even though the store is a bit out of my way to get to I will still go back for any future nail polish purchases. Below is a list of all the polishes I got and some might still be available at there online store. Hope you like my haul and I will be posting the swatches really soon :)

MUFE: Rouge Artist Intense

Once again MUFE brings you a new product that is nothing more then fabulous. I'm talking about the new Rouge Artist Intense, a new collection of lipsticks that are highly pigmented and long lasting. These lipsticks are formulated with a special pigment and contain 50% more pigment then your average lipstick. They are creamy and very moisturising for the lips and go on very easily. Some of the ingredients this product contains are Castor oil and beeswax which provide intense color payoff and results in long lasting wear.

Rouge Artist Intense comes in 50 different shades and 3 different finishes which are matte, pearly, and satin so there is shade for everyone out there. There is a mix of red's, pink's and nudes. The best thing about this new product is that it feature's a special shade finder wheel, which is available to consumers in-store or online. This wheel helps you decide what colors are more flattering for you based on you hair and skin tone. So it's really easy to find the perfect match for you. These lipsticks can be worn alone or you can pair them up with your favorite Mufe glosses. Out of the three finishes I would say my favorite is the satin it glides on like a dream and I don't even feel like I have anything on my lips.

Rouge Artist Intense is available now at Sephora.come or the Mufe Boutique in NYC and they are priced at $19.00 in the US and $22 in Canada
